Yokoo - Back to House Music

Well this little podcast has been a tad quiet of late so I'm happy to welcome a mix from DJ/producer Yokoo. Yokoo is a class act and is as professional as they come. Play it loud!

Tracklist:

1. Marc Romboy - Sonora (Hugo remix) - Systematic
2. Sebo K – DIVA – Mobilee Records
3. Sety - Mogane (Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts Remix) - Circus Company
4. Namito, Martin Eyerer – Seefeuer – Great Stuff
5. :Terry: - Sense – Freak N Chic
6. Audiofly X - Appently So - 8bit
7. Shades of Gray - Moog In The House – PlusMinus Recordings
8. Henrik Schwarz, Amampondo - I Exist Because Of You (Henrik Schwarz live version) - Innervisions
9. Ochsenbauer, Boenig - Der Grune Wald (Stephan Hinz remix) - Kling Klong
10. Ost & Kjex, Solomun - Federgewicht (Hamburg version) - Diynamic
11. Mihalis Safras – Interafrica – Trapez Ltd
12. Martin Eyerer – Furthermore – Kling Klong
13. Mark August - 3 Of A Kind – Cocoon Recordings

YokoO is a relatively new face in Brisbane's clubs, though not without experience and a bag full of top shelf deep techno that will no doubt take you on a journey through the mind, leaving you nothing short of awe inspired!

His smooth melodic/minimal Productions complete the picture, also making good use of an intelligent ear for tonal and tribal deep tech.

His sound is evidently a recreation of his deeply spiritual relationship with technology and music.

Originally hailing from Strasbourg, France, YokoO has made good use of the short time he has been in Australia, playing on the major venue circuit of Family, The Met, Empire and Bar Soma in Brisbane, Platinum on the Coast, and Spice & Favela in Sydney to name a few. He also translates to the festival crowd, chosen to set up rooms at the Godskitchen and Global Gathering festivals.

With an array of fresh beats, a passionate thirst for new sounds and flawless mixing ability, YokoO has set the stage for his audience to join him on an all-encompassing journey of rhythm and music.
